ROLE OVERVIEW

Job Location:     Site Based / NE11 9JW

As an Apprentice Fabricator/Welder, you will support in a variety of tasks across the business, including manufacturing and installing staircases, handrails, balustrades and general steel fabrication and welding.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who wants to learn and grow within the business. The appropriate candidate will be given an extensive training program, covering all departments within the organisation, in order to gain a general overview on how the business operates.

WHAT WE ASK FOR

Meldrum Fabrication are looking for an individual who is committed to learning, and is keen to developing themselves. You must have excellent time-keeping skills and show that you are able to work well as part of a growing team.

We also ask that you have a minimum 3 GCSEs at grades 4 or above in Maths and English. All candidates will be required to complete a functional skills test in numeracy, verbal reasoning and problem solving.
