Just a stone’s throw from our new Cambridge office lies Europe’s largest air museum, the perfect venue for our launch event, “Come Fly With Meldrum”.

Specialising in heritage, we thought it only right we explore in detail Duxford’s rich history and events of the past.

We invited guests from across the UK to join us at the Duxford Imperial War Museum for a meticulously planned day of activities and networking opportunities.

The day commenced with travel on a chartered jet, leading to a reception with welcome canapés before embarking on the Battle of Britain private tour. We then explored the history of Duxford and its significance, followed by a three-course lunch and drinks. We concluded the day on a tour of the fastest commercial airliner in history – Concorde.

This was truly a one-of-a-kind event, reflective of our passion for innovation. What better way to spend the extra day we have been given this leap year than with prosecco and canapes under the wing of the fastest commercial airliner ever built?

From the feedback received, we can safely say the event was a roaring success!

“Meldrum are one of the National Federation of Builders’ most influential members, leading some of the most innovative projects across the country. It was a pleasure to attend the launch of Meldrum’s Cambridge office as they deepen their ties to the region. I can say for certain that it was the first time I’ve met with one of our members in an aircraft hangar!”

North meets South…

With steady growth since opening our doors in 2001, we have maintained a loyal base of repeat and national clients. Working closely with like-minded clients, partners and a supply chain, who are aligned with our Core Values of Integrity, Pride & Passion, Quality and Innovation has always been of utmost importance to us. It was our relationship with those national clients that saw us increasingly delivering work in the South East.

Establishing a base in Cambridge is a natural progression, reflecting our commitment to sustained growth and enhancing our ability to serve our clientele more meaningfully.

Recently completed works in and around Cambridge include a specialist veterinary hospital for Linnaeus Vets and a vehicle maintenance workshop for Petit Forestier.

Our mission

Hosting this unique experience at a local venue was important to us, aligning with our aim to invest in and support businesses in the local community.

Alongside supporting local businesses is our mission to support the people that make up our communities. We’re always looking for opportunities to Make A Difference to those most disadvantaged in life, whether it be through their background, age, disability or illness.

Through the Meldrum Foundation Charity we have been able to raise nearly £1m for worthy causes.
