MEET THE TEAM
JONATHAN MELLIS
Managing Director – Meldrum Structural and Civil Engineering Ltd
Jonathan was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2016 following 6 successful years of managing and growing our Civils Department. In 2019, following the introduction of the Group structure, Jonathan was appointed MD of Meldrum Structural and Civil Engineering Ltd.
Jonathan has 28 years’ experience in civil engineering construction, along with strong leadership, programming and commercial skills. He has developed his career, starting out as an apprentice through to management, joining Meldrum in 2010.
COLIN CAMPBELL
Structures Manager – Meldrum Structural and Civil Engineering Ltd
With 21 years of experience in the steel fabrication industry along with strong leadership and programming skills, Colin has project managed all aspects of design, fabrication and installation. Having previously worked for Spiral Engineering for 14 years, he worked his way from an apprentice to Works Supervisor. His role included arranging the works required, ensuring the works ran to programme and supervising the installation team.
Colin joined Meldrum in 2013 to undertake the position of Works Manager working alongside the Structures Management Team to deliver quality steel fabrications ranging from small balustrading, staircases and platforms, to large structural steelwork. Colin moved to the position of Department Manager in January 2015 and has since led the growth of the Structures Department. His health and safety knowledge and experience in the steel fabrication industry ensures projects are delivered on programme and to budget.
