The entrance to site was shared with the entrance to the already existing warehouse, operating using a one-way system, calling for meticulous coordination on deliveries, considering pedestrians and working hours. Partial handover was also planned to ensure the client always had access to 50% of their yard, minimising disruption to production.
Before the team could begin, they carried out the removal of existing buildings that were partly demolished and buried underneath the ground. This involved breaking out and carefully segregating waste, some of which went to a specialist removal centre.
