Works comprised of the design, development and construction of a new industrial storage facility for the fabrication company. Beginning with site investigations, ground improvement works, piled foundations, a reinforced concrete substructure and a structural steel frame. The team then installed composite roof and wall cladding systems, drainage and attenuation infrastructure, alongside the electrical installations, security and fire systems.
Further external works included an external hardstanding, permeable paving and all associated testing, and commissioning.
Long lead in materials was prioritised at the start of the project to mitigate any delays. The team organised the delivery of materials to the site compound and moved materials to site when accessible, given the site is confined.
