This is an extension with associated works to a domestic property, situated on Grangemoor Road in Widdrington Station. The main requirement from the client was disabled access, so the works were carefully planned and tailored around this.

These works cover the provision of a platform lift to provide disabled access, an extension to the existing garage to create a wet room, a therapy room and appropriate storage for equipment. An assortment of changes have been made to this two-floor home, including opening rooms to form the construction of a mezzanine floor to be created above the bedroom. This now enables round the clock care to be provided to the occupant of the bedroom.
