On the 4th of August, we invited staff and clients to our inflatable football charity match to raise money for the Meldrum Foundation.
How does inflatable football work? In simple terms, every player is strapped into a life-size foosball-looking table and competes in rounds of football until they are knocked out of the tournament or victorious.
Well played to our Meldrum Civil Engineering team on their victory, that’s two years running. Will next year be their third?
We’d also like to thank everyone who attended, we hope you enjoyed yourselves and hope to see you again next year.
Most importantly, together we managed to raise a total of £630, to be donated to our chosen charities; Oasis Community Housing, Solan Connor Fawcett Cancer Trust, and Heel & Toe Children’s Charity.
At Meldrum, our people are passionate about their local community and help us to contribute throughout the year. Sometimes it’s raising money at events and sometimes it’s giving up their time and expertise. Our next event will be the annual Demolition Ball, so keep an eye out if charity balls are to your liking.
